Kay F. Walker (Kay W. Sieg) and Sandra P. Adams are owners of Megabooks, Inc. and co-authors of the Illustrated Essentials of Musculoskeletal Anatomy textbook, muscle study cards and transparency set. Kay and Sandra publish educational materials for study of the human anatomy with the higher goal of promoting wellness and optimal service in health care.

Kay is a retired career academician having served as a university
teacher, writer, researcher, administrator, and now, professor
emeritus. Keeping ties with academia, she teaches graduate online
courses in two universities. Academic credentials include a
bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy and master’s and doctoral
degrees in special education. Her experiences include courses in
anatomy, neuroscience, and pediatrics, and research in sensory
processing in children, clinical expertise in sensory integration,
and online distance learning master’s program development. She
resides in Gainesville, Florida and enjoys her wonderful family and
friends, and leisure pursuits including fitness, travel, and music.
She is active in her church and community and is an advocate of
services for persons with seizure disorders and for programs for
loved ones of persons in addiction recovery.
Sandra P. Adams, Ph.D.
“I won’t ever forget
what teaching anatomy taught me”
Sandra is best known in Florida and the USA and other nations for
her leadership and expertise in services to children with
disabilities and their families. She developed the Child Development
Center, Sarasota, FL into a multi-facility complex that serves
hundreds of children with disabilities and their families each year.
She served as a gubernatorial appointee to the Florida Developmental
Disabilities Council, as a children’s needs advisor in Washington,
DC, and as an ambassador in Pope Paul’s International Day of the
Child in Rome. She was instrumental in negotiations for Florida’s
funding for early intervention training and holds an adjunct
university faculty appointment in early intervention. Early in her
career, she taught university course in anatomy and pediatrics. She
holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in occupational therapy and a
doctorate degree in special education. Sandra resides in Miami and
Sarasota, Florida. She is an advocate of services for persons with
spinal cord injuries and the
Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation and other groups that
conduct research to benefit persons with neurological injuries.
